Master's Degree in Art or Music OR a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Art or Music
One year post-secondary teaching experience in the discipline to include: Art or Music
Demonstrated supervision and/or leadership skills

This position provides leadership and direction for Foreign Language and Fine Arts faculty and staff while performing all duties of an instructor.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):

*Projects needs for the department in terms of staffing, texts, supplies and equipment.
* Maintains records, gathers and analyzes departmental data including class enrollments and department trends
*Assists with developing, maintaining, and supervising long-range Institutional Effectiveness assessment plans that may include planning, developing, and reporting the Associate Fine Arts program mission, goals and program and student learning outcomes
*Assists with providing oversight and ensures quality control for the Associate in Fine Arts Degree program
*Assists with scheduling classes, curriculum development and course development
Assists with student advising and student concerns
Serves on the managerial team for the division
Helps in planning and conducting regular department meetings
Facilitates departmental professional development , to include serving as a facilitator on an as needed basis
Assists in the hiring, performance management and professional development of the Foreign Language and Fine Arts faculty
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient with MS Office products including MS Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Innovative, creative, motivated and work well with others

Able to maintain records accurately and be able to meet deadlines consistently
Able to perform normal duties with minimum supervision
