Position Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of the Director for Multicultural Workforce Development & Outreach, the applicant must demonstrate mastery in the areas of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint and must be fluent in Spanish.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that all necessary documents are kept current and delivered in a timely manner
- Ensures that accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom
- Prepares and updates materials/outlines for adult learning styles
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Confidentiality is extremely imperative. Brunswick Community College follows FERPA guidelines
- Follow college Covid-19 Guidelines
Must be able to teach:
- Computer applications
- MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Evaluate/test students, either formally or informally to determine student’s progression.
- Design and teach various computer courses for adults.
- Create course outlines, write instructions, review handouts.
- Prepare room and computers for use before each class.
- Assure that the computer equipment is properly used.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years teaching experience

- Proficient in English and Spanish
PREFERRED:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. Have teaching experience preferred.
