  • Have at least an Associate’s degree.
  • MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience
  • Proficient in English and Spanish

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. Have teaching experience preferred.

Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the general supervision of the Director for Multicultural Workforce Development & Outreach, the applicant must demonstrate mastery in the areas of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint and must be fluent in Spanish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that all necessary documents are kept current and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensures that accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom
  • Prepares and updates materials/outlines for adult learning styles
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Confidentiality is extremely imperative. Brunswick Community College follows FERPA guidelines
  • Follow college Covid-19 Guidelines

      Must be able to teach:

  • Computer applications
  • MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Evaluate/test students, either formally or informally to determine student’s progression.
  • Design and teach various computer courses for adults.
  • Create course outlines, write instructions, review handouts.
  • Prepare room and computers for use before each class.
  • Assure that the computer equipment is properly used.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • 2 years teaching experience
  • Have at least an Associate’s degree.
  • MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience
  • Proficient in English and Spanish

 

PREFERRED:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. Have teaching experience preferred.
