A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is required. One year of relevant experience is required and must have experience with Microsoft products, including Word and Excel. Exemplary interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills to assist in working with constituencies across the institution including students, faculty and staff at all levels. The candidate must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills in order to prioritize job duties and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The individual must possess a strong work ethic; the ability to work individually and as a team member; and the ability to maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Federal Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.
Primary responsibilities include: providing case management services; working with faculty and staff across campus to understand and assess student needs; collaborating with Counseling & Clinical Services staff to develop and implement appropriate treatment/service plans; developing and maintaining relationships with providers and services on campus and in the community; and facilitating connection with and use of services by students. Additional responsibilities include entering and maintaining accurate student information in Colleague/Etrieve systems and participation in recruitment and retention activities of the college. Perform other duties as assigned.
