Minimum Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s Degree with excellent computer and communication skills; two years’ experience working with economically disadvantaged adults as well as knowledge of community college policies and available resources in both Person and Caswell Counties.
Preferred Qualifications
Case management and instructional experience preferred
Position Description
Provides counseling to potential Triple E Golden LEAF participants regarding personal circumstances regarding work history and educational needs, job and career goal development, grant participation requirements, and supportive services needed to alleviate identified barriers. Once enrolled in Triple E Grant, monitors academic progress to assure supportive services meeting student needs to assure successful completion of training; teaches in Person County Employability Lab and Working Smart instruction; works one day per week in Caswell County to serve grant participants.
