An Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience cashiering or handling money belonging to others 1 year preferred.
This position receives all cash, checks, credit cards, and money orders for the College; prepares daily cash analysis reports; dispatches appropriate cash certification reports to Raleigh; ensures that all accounts receivable are current; create sponsors, does sponsor billing, and control charges that are paid by third parties; maintains files on students authorized to engage in charge transactions; maintains the restrictions on student’s accounts; completes purges as needed; ability to handle general public tactfully on a daily basis while remaining sensitive to their needs; ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure; performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
