Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or three or more years of direct experience in the field of ServSafe
  • ServSafe qualified instructor
  • Teach face-to-face classes (daytime, evenings, and/or weekends as necessary)
  • Provide new ideas for classes students may request
  • Knowledgeable in different areas of ServSafe

Preferred Qualifications

  • Community College experience with Faculty, Staff & Students
  • Five years’ experience in ServSafe environment

Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom and laboratory instruction, examination preparation and grading and preparing students for a rewarding career in ServSafe.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide students with the basic knowledge of ServSafe
  • Ensures that all necessary documentation is kept current and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensures that an accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom
  • Willing to prepare and update material/outlines for adult learning styles

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Associate Degree or three or more years of direct experience in the field of ServSafe
  • ServSafe qualified instructor
