Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to meet and deal effectively with students, staff, instructors, and the general public. Demonstrate empathy and understanding for the adult learner. Qualified applicants should have skills in critical analysis, record keeping experience, the ability to evaluate and organize data, develop documents, and remain up to date on NC CCR Testing Policies. Must be flexible, willing to travel between class locations, including correctional facilities, and work occasional evening hours. Proficiency in MS Office required and ability to learn ADVANSYS.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in education or closely related. Experience in adult education and Title II WIOA programming.
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
Position Description
Work directly with students and staff in the College and Career Readiness (CCR) Program to oversee intake, pre- and post-testing at CCR class locations in Richmond and Scotland Counties to include the correctional setting. Assist with the development and implementation of retention strategies and assist students with transitioning into post-secondary education and/or a career. Assist with special integrated education and training projects.
