Serve as the liaison for providing student recruitment and school-based student support services, primarily in Onslow County high schools.  Interact with high school administration, academic and career technical education coordinators, teachers, school counselors, and staff to provide college-related transition services for high school students.  Provide regular liaison in all Onslow County high schools; and conduct regular follow-up and contact of prospective students. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Bachelor’s degree in education or counseling is preferred.  Excellent oral/written communication skills and Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer skills, required.  A minimum of three (3) years successful work experience in a middle or high school setting, and current/prior North Carolina School licensure, preferred.  Daytime position with local travel and some scheduled evening work, required.

Salary:  $18.00 per hour/25 hours per week with some scheduled evening work required.
