Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Community Employment Services Coordinator will be responsible for the service delivery of job coaching and situational assessment for Vocational Rehabilitation referrals to Brunswick County. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assigns and assists job coaches in appropriate job matches for clients
  • Reviews a variety of reports related to the Supported Employment and DHHS BEAM system on a weekly basis that include client charts, employment plans, progress reports and staff schedules.
  • Overseas the Custodial Habilitation Specialist and Grounds Habilitation Specialist positions and assist in scheduling services.
  • Responsible for all Live Crew budgets and Supported Employment services to include calculations expenses and maintain sound budget; all billing of crew activities along with billing of ATMC projects; accounts receivables from all projects and proper accounting procedures/business offices to be followed
  • Act as liaison to assist clients with navigation of the Social Security Administration
  • General Statute 122C-80 Criminal History Record consent is required as well as fingerprint check if the applicant has been a resident of NC for less than 5 years

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree
  • Certified in Adult CPR/First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Community College Experience
