Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 
Demonstrated ability in compiling and reviewing documentation
   
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records

Ability to exhibit good interpersonal skills and work well with others

Ability to collaborate, build relationships and maintain professional contacts within field

Ability to effectively plan and execute special projects involving coordination of colleagues

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field, and experience in auditing or information management within a community college institution

Three years of supervisory experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Five years of experience in auditing or information management within Workforce Continuing Education

Previous supervisory experience
 

Position Description

This position is responsible for planning and conducting file audits within the Workforce Continuing Education Division to assess compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.

 

 Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):

*Conducts audits, ensuring adequate documentation and sufficient audit evidence
   
*Requests and collects information from knowledgeable internal/external sources about areas and functions to determine appropriate audit direction
   
Researches and keeps abreast of legislative issues, new audit regulations/trends and audit methodology
   
Supervises technical/paraprofessional office staff
   
Assists in the development of audit workflow structures and internal controls to ensure appropriate standards of accountability
   
Provides training to Workforce Continuing Education staff regarding audit requirements and procedures
   
Assists with the development of long-term accountability procedures
 

Completes annual applied benchmark project on an individual or group basis
