Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associates degree or acceptable alternative education with major course work in computer applications, repair or a related field.
Experience: A+ certification required at the time of employment or within one year of employment as a condition of employment.

Position Description
The Computer Technician (CT) performs a variety of duties in the updating, configuration, troubleshooting, purchasing, inventorying, and support of Windows based PC software and equipment. The CT manages the IT help desk and is responsible for the inventory of computers and equipment. The CT assists with networking in a LAN environment. This position sometimes involves the assistance and training of students and others who may work in the department.
