Blue Ridge Community College is actively seeking candidates for a Continuing Education-Program Specialist. The CE Program Specialist is responsible for planning, development, organization of the occupational extension continuing education and personal enrichment programs within the Economic & Workforce Development/CE Division at the Transylvania County Campus (TCC). Training and other assignments as needed may be performed at the Henderson County Campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:Associate degree required bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years administrative, clerical or office environment experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal person will possess strong personal and professional integrity, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, database systems, College email and website, and other computer applications associated with the position.

Physical Demands:
The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
