Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; five (5) years successful professional experience in directly related field, two (2) years of office management and supervisory experience; diversified accounting and budgetary experience at mid-management level with business or educational institution; experience in high-level finance or accounting position including monthly closing, audits, accounts receivable, general expense; working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite product; experience working with or knowledge of computerized accounting systems (Ellucian preferred)
Certified Public Accountant License
Responsible for creating, nurturing, assessing, and continuously improving the environment necessary to accomplish the Financial Services Division; authorizes and supervisors all financial transactions, internal controls, and operational effectiveness to ensure that records accurately reflect the financial position of the College; coordinates and directs the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and shipping/receiving functions, auxiliary services. Equipment coordinator, the child development center, and payroll functions.
