Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; five (5) years successful professional experience in directly related field, two (2) years of office management and supervisory experience; diversified accounting and budgetary experience at mid-management level with business or educational institution; experience in high-level finance or accounting position including monthly closing, audits, accounts receivable, general expense; working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite product; experience working with or knowledge of computerized accounting systems (Ellucian preferred)
Certified Public Accountant License
Position oversees and authorizes all financial transactions of the College to ensure records accurately reflect the financial position of the College; responsible for development of quarterly and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders; responsible for internal controls and operational efficiencies throughout the College; coordinates and directs the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and shipping/receiving functions, as well as auxiliary services, equipment coordination, and child development center.
