Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree within a discipline at the college with three to five years related experience, bachelor’s degree preferred. Diploma, licensures, industry-recognized credentials, and significant work experience in industry and vocational occupations may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
Position Description
This position supports deans and faculty identifying and developing short-term, non-credit programs for student career advancement; provides crosswalk planning from non-credit to credit programs; and upholds the lifelong learner approach to community enrichment creation and implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Assist deans in identifying and developing non-credit programs, adhering to course standards or industry standard accreditation process(es)
- Assist deans with articulation agreements between non-credit to credit programs
- Identify regional training needs
- Provide instruction for a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) hours per semester
- Coordinate apprenticeships
- Assess opportunities to better engage all community members
- Within this role, establish goals and objectives as they relate to the overall strategic plan and mission of the college
- Serve on college committees as assigned
- Other duties may be assigned
