Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum of three (3) years teaching at the college level
• Evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level
• Master’s degree or higher
• Experience in online course design and delivery focusing on applied, active and experiential learning
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and video conferencing
• Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Adaptable to learning new web-based technologies
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with web page management
• Experience in designing and conducting professional development activities
• Experience with curriculum and training instructional design including analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation of instruction.
• Experience with budget management

Job Description
The Coordinator for the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL) is a part-time, 12-month position (up to 27.5 hours per week) located primarily on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe, NC.
Under the direction of the CTLL Director, the CTLL Coordinator empowers and supports South Piedmont’s faculty and instructional staff as they embrace life-long growth and continuous improvement to foster student success.
The CTLL Coordinator is responsible for assisting the CTLL Director with the design, development and implementation of faculty professional development programs and resources. The successful candidate will be proactive, engaged, and eager to learn.
Job Duties
• Facilitate workshops on topic relevant to SPCC instructor and student success
• Assemble and distribute training materials for faculty development
• Collaborate with liaisons from both staff and faculty positions across the college to support the CTLL
• Research and assess faculty development opportunities to increase student engagement, active learning, experiential, and applied learning, particularly those associated with online learning
• Coordinate evaluation and communication of CTLL programs and activities
• Assist in the management of the CTLL web page
• Arrange for faculty and instructional staff workshops and other professional development group opportunities
• Assist with the facilitation of the Faculty Fellows program
• Coordinate and implement Spring 2022 Faculty Development Symposium.
• Assist CTLL Director with the management of the professional development budget monies
• Participate in institutional, advisory, and program/instruction committees, campus activities, and representation of the college in the community
• Provide accessibility to students and colleagues as expected in a learning-centered college
• Exhibit an uncompromising commitment to SPCC as a learning-centered college through the College’s mission, vision, values, core skills and learning outcomes, and delivery of instruction and services
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the CTLL or Dean of Arts & Sciences
