1. Must have a minimum of Associate’s degree;
2. Must have a minimum of one year of full-time or equivalent experience with event planning and/or management;

1. Bachelor’s degree;
2. One year of full-time or equivalent experience working at an NC Community College;
3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.
Position Description
Job Description Summary
Responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and marketing of the Conference Center and other event spaces on all campuses.
Duties
1. Schedules, coordinates, and markets the Conference Center, Ferguson Auditorium, and other event spaces on all campuses and
sites.
2. Supervises Attendant, Event Facilities.
3. Utilizes 25Live Scheduling Software for events.
4. Prepares and manages Facility Usage Agreements.
5. Assists visitors to appropriate rooms and amenities.
6. Creates online application and payment system for 3rd party rentals, with the IT department.
7. Manages day-to-day activities and facilitates services needed for outside events with departments within the College.
8. Update Procedures Manual as needed.
9. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and Welcoming College statement.
10. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
