Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to speak and present to audiences
Understanding of the importance of inter-agency collaboration in the creation of effective
programming
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to re-prioritize tasks when faced with unforeseen challenges
Knowledge of and competence in marketing and personnel recruitment practices, including the effective use of appropriate social media tools
Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills
Proficient MS Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to maintain spreadsheets, presentations, and databases

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, business or a related field
Two years' recent experience in developing and maintaining working relationships with business, industry or government in the areas of job development, experiential learning, on the job training or a related position
Must be able to travel locally

Position Description
This position is responsible for working with local employer partners to promote opportunities for experiential learning opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described.
*Facilitates conversations with industry partners to promote career programs through registered apprenticeships
*Collaborates with local economic development boards, chamber of commerce and secondary education systems to support apprenticeship development in curriculum education
*Assists students with process of identifying and locating appropriate internship sites that meet required criteria
*Promotes Work Based Learning (WBL) to departments by working with faculty to identify eligible students for WBL program and actively recruits students to participate in WBL when eligible through email and phone calls
*Prepares and presents WBL informational programs to increase participation in WBL program through webinars and classroom presentations
Monitors records and student data related to apprenticeships
Assists students with process of locating internship sites that meet required criteria
Audits WBL records on a monthly basis submitted by Faculty Coordinators for compliance with state documentation and credit requirements
Contacts Faculty Coordinators regarding incomplete or missing documentation for WBL student records
Provides information to potential WBL employers through email or phone inquiries
Assists with maintaining data related to WBL participants and employers
Assists with creation and support of WBL surveys to students and employers
Assists with employer information nights, career fairs and other WBL recruitment events
Updates and manages WBL and apprenticeship web pages on college site
Completes annual applied benchmark project on an individual or group basis
