Minimum Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree;
2. Five years of full-time or equivalent office administration work experience;
3. Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working with insurance products and services;
2. Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Management, or related field;
3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.
Position Description
Job Description Summary
Responsible for handling all insurance claims, questions, and certificates. This position will work with students and employees to handle any insurance claims and issues, and assist the Business Manager and Director of Plant Operations with administrative support.
Duties
1. Provides business and administrative support to Plant Operations to include; but not limited to, entering requisitions in E-procurement, reconciling invoices and purchase orders, and assisting with Construction bids and Purchase and Contract bids.
2. Handles all student accident insurance claims and forms, certificates of insurance, and any college-wide insurance claims.
3. Develops and maintains an inventory of College owned vehicles and a list of drivers for these vehicles. Adds and deletes vehicles from the college insurance policy. Submits employee driver’s license information to the insurance provider.
4. Develops and maintains a database of all College insurance policies and expiration dates.
5. Manages $75,000 worth of Purchase Card receipts and expenses in Bank of America Works system.
6. Manages School Dude work order system.
7. Oversees WEX Fuel cards and Fuel program for Entire College.
8. Handles general phone inquiries for Plant Operations and directs calls to appropriate people.
9. Assists Business Manager with reporting for State Construction (such as HUB reports) and State Energy Office.
10. Performs general office duties to include scanning, filing etc.
11. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and Welcoming College statement.
12. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
