Minimum Qualifications

1. Associate’s Degree in Computer Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology or closely related field is required.
2. Minimum of three years of related industrial experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology.
2. Teaching experience preferred.

Position Description

Under the direction of the Dean and Department Head, the program coordinator’s primary purpose is the planning and operational aspects of the program and to insure the viability, currency, and integrity of the program. The coordinator position is a teaching position and may carry a full teaching load in addition to responsibilities as program coordinator.

 

Courses to instruct may include:

            -Computer Upgrade/Repair                                        -Cirucit Analysis

            -Analog Electronics                                                       -Digital Electronics

            -Introduction to Microprocessors                               -Electrical Machines

            -Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers
