Associate's degree. Ability to multi-task and process data with speed, accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience or diploma/degree in business/information technology field preferred.
Position Description
The Data Entry Clerk serves as a generalist in Student Services providing data entry and student follow up services to applicants and students. Duties include but are not limited to: working with applicants to complete all necessary steps for admissions, follow up on all data entry and missing documents, community outreach activities to recruit new students, and to provide support to students as part of the Student Services team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the application process including application import, manual entry, document scanning, and Colleague data verification. Update CFNC website as needed. Import applications or manually enter, when necessary and verify data.
- Follow-up with students who are inquiries, have missing items in application files or have not registered.
- Receive and process transcripts via CFNC download.
- Ensure terms and student notifications are updated in CFNC.
- In conjunction with the Director of Admissions and Retention, enter applications and register special program students such as CCP and Early College.
- Assist in Community outreach events as part of recruitment.
- Assist with the collection of numerical grades from MCC instructors via Informer reporting. Report the grades of the CCP and MCEC students to their schools.
- Assist Admissions Counselor with updates to program guides and acceptance facts information sheet for programs as needed.
- Coordinate TEAS testing with the testing center.
- Assist students with FAFSA completion, RDS, obtaining student ID Cards, parking stickers, and activating accounts such as self-service, Blackboard, and email.
- Organize and scan Etrieve documents/files.
- Participate in Student Services events such as graduation, Spring Fling, Registration Events, SGA activities, and college/community activities.
- Provide assistance with data entry needs for the Student Services Department.
- Serve as back-up for the College switchboard.
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned in support of the College’s mission, core values and goals.
