Minimum Qualifications
Two years of computer programming or computer applications software or institutional effectiveness experience is required, preferably in an educational setting. Experience in systems analysis and knowledge of a variety of research and data analysis software is desirable. An Associate degree from an accredited college in computer science or a related field; or equivalent is required. Previous experience and job duties that is fully documented in the application packet and supported with application attachment data, may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. Those previous job duties must be fully explained, including how the applicant feels such experiences qualify the candidate for consideration in lieu of the required associates degree.

Fayetteville Technical Community College is accepting applications for the Data Management Technician (research and reports) position in the Institutional Effectiveness Office.
Duties
The successful applicant will collect a variety of data, using computer software programs and data management systems. Coordinates with the College’s academic and administrative service areas with research, data collection, analysis of data, statistical tabulation, and recommendations based upon the analysis of collected information and documents. Assist the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness with data collection for State and Federal Reports and Surveys associated with College Recognition. Provides annual updates of the College’s Fact Book to be published to the College’s website.
