Position Description
Prepare and teach collision repair courses designed for career technical programs. Must be able to instruct a wide variety of topics within the curriculum in laboratory and classroom environments. Provide classroom and lab instruction for various subjects in the Collision Repair industry; in conjunction with the Division Chair for Industrial and Applied Technology, evaluate and improve program quality; stay abreast of regulations applicable to Collision and Repair work such as OSHA and ASE; advise students, and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Diploma in Collision Repair Technology or a related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution; ASE certifications in Painting & Refinishing, Structural Damage, and Non-Structural Damage; 3 years of relevant industry experience as a Collision Repair Technician, required. I-CAR certifications; post-secondary teaching experience and/or industry training experience; experience with assessment of student learning outcomes; and experience with a learning management system (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard, etc…), preferred.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: August 3, 2020.
