Minimum Qualifications

*Position requires instructors to teach on campus, online Instructors are not needed at this time.

A Bachelor’s degree that includes at least 18 hours of English and/or Reading Courses is required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient in using computer software. Applicant must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to work well with others.  

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual is preferred.

Position Description

The Instructor will teach the Developmental Reading and Writing Levels II and III in the Discipline. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the subject area, submitting academic reports and records in a timely manner, and will perform all other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and the Dean.

If selected for employment, the applicant must submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.
