Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field of study.

· Proven working experience in digital marketing.

· Proficiency with WordPress, HTML/CSS, all Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe.

· Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.

· Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.

· Extensive knowledge of website management, analytics, design, and SEO best practices and standards.

· Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.

· Digital media buying experience.

· Ability to calculate ROI for all marketing campaigns, establishing KPIs and analyzing large data sets.

· Familiarity with bulk email software, Salesforce or other CRM platforms

· Knowledge of Google and Google Ads

· Knowledge of managing the Facebook Business platform, and coordinating multiple Facebook Ads campaigns.

· Experience with placing ads on LinkedIn. 

· Ability to own the campaign lifecycle through all stages from concept, to implementation (organizing assets for clients), to launch, and tracking.

· Possess self-motivational and self-starter skills.

· Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

· Google Analytics certification.

· Higher education experience.

Position Description

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager is a full-time position located on the OCH Campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for execution and implementation of digital media marketing programs to build awareness of South Piedmont Community College and its programs. The position’s initiatives include digital media planning, monitoring online campaigns and analytical recaps. The digital marketing manager is also responsible for maintaining spcc.edu.

To be successful, the Digital Marketing Manager must work effectively as a team, possess an analytical mind and a storyteller’s heart, be able to manage multiple projects concurrently, be goal-oriented and dedicated to continually improving the College’s digital presence.

Job Duties

· Working with the Executive Director and leaders throughout the College, designs and develops digital marketing campaigns that adapt to latest trends and best practices in email, social media, display, OTT/CTV, pay-per-click, and location-based marketing, among other tactics and strategies.

· Coordinates the production process with in-house project managers, creative resources, graphic designers, copywriters, external agencies, vendors, and accounting.

· Researches and analyzes digital media, vendors and agencies, as needed.

· Designs, implements, and continuously monitors digital advertising campaigns of all kinds.

· Assists in all aspects of campaign development, from identifying audiences, to selecting communication channels, to refining messaging, and monitoring results.

· Consults with Executive Director on matters related to departmental budget.

· Provides regular progress reports and recommends adjustments to campaigns as needed based on data. Generates reports, collects salient data points, and analyzes performance of all online campaigns.

· Responds to tickets for updates/changes to spcc.edu, ensuring prompt, polite, collaborative communication with all college stakeholders.

· Takes a leadership role in the improvement of spcc.edu. Conducts regular content audits, recommends changes to site map, addition/elimination of pages, etc., to continuously improve user experience ad SEO.

· Coordinating with the Executive Director, maintains all official College social media accounts.

· Travel to all SPCC campuses and centers in Monroe, Polkton, and Wadesboro.

· Flexibility for evening and weekend assignments as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.
