Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree in Digital Media, Web Design, Communications, Media Technology or related field.
Have demonstrable work experience in UI/UX design, video editing, and web design.
Have proficient experience the Adobe Creative Suite, (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects, and Premiere).
Excellent communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Web Design, Communications, Media Technology or related field.
Experience with virtual 3D environments such as game engines.
Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college.
On-line teaching experience.
Two years or more of related work experience. Experience in the simulation/game industry a plus

Announcement Summary
Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this exempt full-time instructor position.
The Digital Media program prepares students for entry-level jobs in the digital design and multimedia industry. Students learn to synthesize multimedia, hypertext, computer programming, information architecture, and client/server technologies using both Internet and non-network-based media.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills, demonstrate evidence of flexible work experiences and a willingness to change; be open-minded, fair, and possess the ability to see multiple perspectives; be willing to take risks and accept responsibility for professional and personal growth.
Duties
Provide quality instruction for face-to-face and online classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Recruit students for the FTCC programs.
Advise students in the Digital Media program.
Monitor and improve student retention.
Provide input on program review, assessment, and other departmental activities.
Periodically evaluate and develop new courses. Revise and update existing courses for relevancy and currency consistent with the role and mission of the college.
Maintain face-to-face and/or online classroom environments conducive to student learning, engagement, and retention.
Maintain accurate scholastic and membership records of students enrolled in classes and prepare and submit reports as required.
Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
