Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
 
3 years of Admissions experience in a post-secondary institution
 
2 years of supervisory experience including staffing and evaluation

Position Description

Pay Grade: Manager 6

This position provides support and supervision of admissions and outreach services to facilitate the recruitment, acceptance and registration of Wake Tech students specifically overseeing the Recruitment & Outreach and Career & College Promise departments.  

 Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):* Provides leadership, direction and supervision to Recruitment and Outreach and CCP coordinators.  

*Assists with development and ongoing evaluation of the communication plan to prospective students and applicants to the college.

*Assists with implementation of policies, procedures, and programming for Admissions and Outreach.
 
*Evaluates and monitor processes and procedures of the Career & College Promise program to ensure compliance with program regulations.
 
*Coordinates and manages Admissions and Outreach communications with WCPSS and other external stakeholders by providing support to the coordinator of recruitment with the annual High School Partners Conference for updates.

*Oversees and provides support to the coordinator of recruitment in the development, implementation and annual evaluation of a comprehensive recruitment and outreach plan.

*Coordinate and collaborate with curriculum department heads and deans for program of study development and maintenance of educational pathways for high school students. 

*Research, evaluate and implement student success software for use with dual enrollment students at the college.

Assists Dean in developing strategies and directs activities that support the college's enrollment management goals and promotes student enrollment and success with a focus on identifying demographic changes in the service area and increasing outreach to underserved populations.

Assist with coordinating college representation at outreach events such as African American Festival, La Fiesta del Pueblo, Chavis festival, and other community related events.

Develops and monitors a comprehensive communication plan and timeline for CCP prospective students, enrolled CCP, students who no longer meet eligibility requirements, and high school graduating CCP students including timely reminders about admissions, registration, form submittal deadlines, coordinating efforts with the college's communications dept. 

Prepares and sends communication to students who are no longer eligible to participate in CCP and offering guided assistance with other educational opportunities at the college.

Develop programming and materials for current high school students to use to outline and establish a direct path from pathway enrollment to completion of a college credential .

Support Dean of admissions in coordinating program metrics reporting on an annual, monthly, weekly and term basis for the division.

Provides guidance and support to admissions staff involved with the selection, development and daily functions of the Student Ambassador Program.

Assists in coordinating the college's curriculum open house at multiple campuses and other on campus admissions related events as requested from community partners such as  YMCA and Big Brother/Big Sister organizations.

Develops and directs projects and initiatives to maximize the use of technology to enhance admissions.
 
Completes an annual benchmark project on an individual or group basis.
