Minimum Qualifications

Education Required

  • Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a concentration that the candidate can link to the job requirements in the application materials

Experience Required

  • For candidates possessing a masters degree, at least one cumulative year of college student services administration experience (can be regular paid work, internship, assistantship, research fellow, etc.); For candidates not possessing a masters degree, at least three years of work within a college student services division

Preferred Qualifications

Education Preferred

  • Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a concentration in student affairs, counseling, human services, or a discipline that the candidate can link to the job requirements in the application materials

Experience Preferred

  • For candidates possessing a masters degree, three or more years of work within a college student services division; For candidates not possessing a masters degree, five or more years of work within a college student services division; For all candidates, experience developing and facilitating large and small-group presentations

Position Description

The Assistant Director for Student Conduct supports the office’s mandate to respond reactively to concerns about student behavior and to queries about student policies, procedures, and administrative options. The position also supports the office’s mission to respond proactively to community members’ need for access to student conduct guidance via multiple pathways in real time. In combination the position is a primary student conduct investigator, a preferred training provider, and a subject matter expert.
