Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, Higher Education, Educational Administration or related area from a regionally accredited institution required. Must have a minimum of three years of experience working with high school dual enrollment programs and supervising/leading student success teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience administrating/overseeing grant programs and working with budgets preferred.
Position Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the Career and College Promise (CCP) program as part of the Student Success Network. This position also provides leadership and directly supervises the CCP Career Coaches and assists with coaching.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the CCP Career Coaches.
- Serve as liaison to the local educational authorities for CCP initiatives.
- Establish annual Directorate objectives in conjunction with reporting personnel.
- Coordinate and prepare curriculum semester schedules for CCP courses with input from Department Chairs.
- Communicate and coordinate CCP program activities and updates with Student Services, the Student Success Network, other instructional departments, and associated high schools.
- Recommend members to serve on program advisory committees annually.
- Advise public school, homeschool and private school students.
- Evaluate direct reports following established evaluation procedures.
- Prepare annual budget requests and administer budget allocations.
- Participate in professional development activities provided by NCC.
- Participate in College events and activities.
- Maintain regular and consistent on-site attendance during normal hours of college operations in fulfillment of duties not inconsistent with the expectations for full-time employees and College policies and procedures.
- Initiate and answer telephone calls and video conference calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned which contribute to the efficient and effective operation of NCC.
- Serve on various committees as assigned.
- Participate in and support ongoing assessment, planning and evaluation to improve student learning.
