Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Proven experience analyzing data, developing and implementing college enrollment management and/or admissions strategy. An understanding of the NC Community College enrollment process and systems is needed including Colleague, CFNC application process and Aviso Retention; and strong organizational, data analysis, written and oral communication skills. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and college recruiting experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred.

Develop and lead collegewide strategic enrollment initiatives and recruiting.

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement college enrollment management plan
  • Implement and lead data-driven, innovative and strategic processes to support college enrollment across all curricula
  • Direct the planning, administration and supervision of Nash Community College’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Lead campus implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software 
  • Access, evaluate and prioritize CFNC data through Cross Connect for prospective students
  • Access and record daily headcount and FTE for each semester, and report the same daily to the Vice President of Student Services
  • Serving as the college’s recruiter, implement a comprehensive student recruitment program
  • Coordinate and lead recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Continuing Education Success Coach/Recruiter as part of the One College concept
  • Coordinate recruitment initiatives on and off campus including on-site admission and registration at area high schools
  • Host campus tours for individuals and groups interested in enrolling at NCC; train college employees and students to lead tours and participate as recruiters
  • Plan open houses, orientations and other recruiting and enrollment events
  • Work with enrollment and admissions team to identify opportunities to improve ease of student enrollment process 
  • Develop a plan for responding to potential students' inquiries 
  • Leverage strategic opportunities throughout campus using “one college” concept to support and foster enrollment of new and returning students
  • Work with marketing, admissions, advisors and success coaches to ensure successful communication and follow-through with prospective and current students throughout the enrollment process
  • Work with departments across campus to embed recruitment and enrollment processes and mindset into departmental operations
  • Stay abreast of internal workflows and changes related to admissions, registrar, financial aid, advising, business office, and other departmental services on campus.
  • Work collaboratively with Student Enrollment Services including but not limited to Fiscal,Financial Aid, Admissions, Academic Advising, Marketing and Outreach, and Institutional Effectiveness departments to create and implement student-centered support, processes and growth.
  • Leverage community relationships and partnerships for recruiting opportunities
  • Work closely with marketing department to design strategic marketing campaigns supporting enrollment efforts
  • Serve on institutional committees as assigned. 
  • Participate in professional development activities provided by NCC
  • Participate in college events and activities. 
  • Maintain regular and consistent on-site attendance during normal hours of college operations in fulfillment of duties not inconsistent with the expectations for full-time employees and College policies and procedures.
  • Initiate and answer telephone calls and video conference calls.
  • Maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the efficient and effective operation of NCC and its mission.
