Minimum Qualifications
Required: Minimum of high school education with firefighting experience; current status as OSFM Certified Fire Instructor; and knowledge of Fire Science and education field. Must be able to lift heavy objects and work a flexible schedule to include day and evening hours. See job description for specific duties and knowledge and skills requirements.

Position Description
Directs all Fire Training activities for McDowell Technical Community College. Complies with regulations and policies of McDowell Technical Community College and the Office of State Fire Marshall (North Carolina). Works with fire departments and emergency service personnel to ensure that local training needs are met.
