Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with emphasis in research, analysis, etc.
Experience: At least 10 years of progressively responsible employment required. At least five years of experience required in higher education, preferably as an employee at a community college. Must have extensive experience in research, writing, editing, and planning. Must have outstanding ability to get along well with others. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to switch from one project to another smoothly; and ability to work as a team member and team leader. Must have experience in successfully supervising employees. Must above all else be positive and team-oriented at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience/and or knowledge in Institutional Effectiveness and SACSCOC accreditation processes.
Position Description
The Director of Institutional Effectiveness is the chief research, planning, and institutional effectiveness officer of the college and the SACSCOC liaison. The director is extremely positive and professional at all times. She or he must have outstanding writing, editing, and listening skills. The director must be a quick learner, hard worker, and self-starter who can complete tasks from start to finish, and be extremely positive at all times. Reports to the president.
