Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:  A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field; minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in manufacturing, business, or human resources.

Position Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will have the following duties & responsibilities:

>    Serves as the Director of NCWorks Customized Training for Robeson Community College and its affiliated business partners.

>    Provides leadership for manufacturing, regional and national warehousing and distribution centers, customer support centers, air courier services, national headquarters and civil service employees providing technical support to US military installations located in North Carolina, and program development opportunities of the College in coordination with the senior administrators.

>    Provides management for all sponsored programs - including budgets, reports, personnel, deliverables, evaluations, etc. - assigned to the office in accordance with accepted guidelines and accounting principles of North Carolina and the funding agency/individual.

>    Develops strategies for providing services for all service sectors with local, state, and national entities.

>    Fosters relationships with internal and external partners to effectively carry out the purpose of the office.

>    Assists the community college and other approved entities with research, workshops, seminars, and support services, as requested.

>    Interprets trends and developments in service sectors that have the potential to be of value in developing the College.

>    Interprets the mission, educational philosophy, and vision statements of Robeson Community College to the general public.

>    Maintains the integrity of the College and its related foundations.

>    Represents the College professionally and handles all business affairs confidentially.
