Master’s Degree Required in Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or other related field from an accredited college or university, three (3) years of experience in the areas of staff supervision; budget management; program development and evaluation; reporting and compliance with federal regulations, and two (2) years of experience with federal TRIO programs, academic support programs, or similar programs for disadvantaged

Organizes, manages, directs, and monitors all project personnel and activities through various means. Implements standards; develops policies, rules, and activities to achieve the Department of Education objectives. Writes the project proposal. Confers with staff on a continuous basis about students’ needs, issues, and concerns, including those in both tutoring and counseling sessions. Reviews all program forms and informational materials. Maintains appropriate records to ensure efficient program management. Assesses all TRIO SSS student records. Completes monthly statistical and activity reports. Develops budget, monitors expenditures, and maintains records of all budget-related documents. Supervises all employees reporting to project. Evaluates personnel and services offered. Screens, interviews, and recommends for employment employees within project. Assesses space, materials, and equipment needs for the operation of the project. Informs faculty, staff, and community agencies of project’s standards. Consults and collaborates with faculty and staff. Prepares weekly reports to be submitted to the Associate Vice President of Student Services. Assists in campus-wide recruitment and retention efforts. Performs other duties as assigned
