 A minimum of five years experience in college and university partnership development, implementation, and management; or, equivalent experience as a faculty member academic advisor, or related student-based work

Position Description

Pay Grade: Manager 7

This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the identification, cultivation, and launch of partnerships with four-year universities whose programs of study align with the AA, AS, AE, AFA, and AAS programs at Wake Tech.  This position also manages the ongoing relationships with these institutions including the creation of opportunities for campus presence through the instruction of university courses, student academic support and development, student and graduate recruitment, and program and faculty and staff collaboration.
 

 Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions):

*Collaborates with college leaders to identify prospective university partners and develop pathways that lead to baccalaureate degrees

*Represents the college in discussions with prospective and current articulation partners

*Manages the process of developing, writing, reviewing and obtaining approvals for new agreements

*Coordinates the development of transfer crosswalks among partners and WTCC faculty, staff, academic leadership, and student services leadership teams

*Collaborates with the Student Services Advising leadership team to identify and create opportunities for partner access to advising team and students

*Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (Career Resources, WCPSS, Workforce Continuing Education, the Wake County employer community) to highlight and promote university partnerships

Collaborates with campus and student services leadership to identify classroom and office space availability to meet the space needs of strategic partners

Develops and implements plans for signing ceremonies to include public relations communications

Manages the ongoing administration of agreements including notification to partners of agreement expiration, updates to transfer course lists, and maintenance of internal records

Manages the University Transfer website and internal information channels (share drives, Intranet sites (portal)

Collaborates with the faculty professional development and academic leadership teams, and student services leadership teams to create opportunities for partner access to faculty, advisors, success coaches, and students

Develops and implements training on University Partnerships for faculty, advisors, and other college stakeholders 

Obtains, collects and reports data on program success

Resolves disputes in a timely manner

Promotes continuous improvement by completing an annual applied benchmark project on an individual or a group basis
