Minimum Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; Possess an NC EMS Level I Paramedic Instructor credential with the ability to obtain a Level II Paramedic Instructor credential within 1 year of employment; ability to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications: Possess a Master’s degree in a related public service or medical field of study from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; Possess an NC EMS Level II Paramedic Instructor credential; five years of practical experience as a certified Paramedic; must be able to work a flexible schedule.
The purpose of this position is to oversee and provide instruction in the EMS continuing education and curriculum programs, as well as maintain the national and state accreditation standards.
