• Associate’s degree or full-time equivalent of two years’ experience in assessment field
• Customer service experience, minimum of one year full-time
Preferred Qualifications

• Educational work experience (secondary or post-secondary level), minimum one year full-time

Job Description
The Enrollment/Records Assistant is a part-time position located on both the OCH Campus in Monroe, NC and the LLP Campus in Polkton, NC. Under the direction of the Director of Recruitment & Enrollment Services and the Registrar, the Enrollment/Records Assistant provides high quality service to students and employees to achieve a high standard of excellence and innovation in support services by supporting the enrollment process, preparing student records, and proctoring/administering tests in the Testing Center.
Job Duties
· Provide exceptional customer service
· Maintain confidentiality of all records within local, state and federal guidelines (FERPA)
· Maintain integrity of the institution through accountability, accuracy and ethical behavior
· Assist with coverage for front door responsibilities of the Success Navigator
· Conduct credit evaluations of transcripts for students
· Assist with document imaging students’ records/files to include clean up and maintenance of files
· Assist with updating and maintenance of student records (i.e. general application, data entry/name changes, address changes/telephone numbers)
· Provide hands-on organization and filing of records
· Provide official transcripts and enrollment verifications upon request for all students
· Obtain and update all testing credentials (most require yearly renewal)
· Cover Testing Center as needed to proctor exams
· Greet students and verify personal information by checking photo identification
· Monitor entry and exit into the testing room, and enforce test security procedures before and during testing
· Administer college placement tests, health admissions tests, make-up instructor, distance learning, and other tests as requested by South Piedmont students or community
· Ensure that all standardized and instructor tests are proctored according to test publisher or instructor guidelines, respectively
· Ensure test security by returning or securing testing materials after test completion as instructed on the test proctoring form
· Accurately enter test scores into the College’s Student Information System (Colleague) and/or Document Imaging Systems
· Take disciplinary action in the event of student misconduct and report any irregularities in the testing process to the designated person/entity
· Perform other duties as assigned
