Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Network Technology or related field. Three or more years working in an education environment using College ERP. Three to five years experience with ERP Systems. Experience with ERP systems; Colleague preferred. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred.

Position Description

Job Description - Summary

The ERP Administrator is responsible for maintaining the College’s ERP and related services, database maintenance, user accounts, document imaging and other related systems. Other responsibilities include analyzing business needs as well as creating and providing tools to improve user processes. This position is expected to provide general technical support to keep College services running efficiently.

This position will have direct access to confidential information that should not be disclosed directly or indirectly to others for any other purpose than to perform the essential duties of this position.

Shift: Day/Evening/As required to support ERP systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage daily operations of the College’s ERP systems.
2. Ensures all College related technology polices are followed as related to ERP systems.
3. Ensures all NCDIT state standards are met and followed as related to ERP systems, user access and procedures.
4. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress for ERP systems updates and related projects.
5. Evaluates and recommends changes to the current and future EPR system requirements to meet organizational needs.
6. Oversee user account creation and tracking for all College systems though Active Directory.
7. Maintain related servers locally and in Amazon Web Services or Azure Cloud.
8. Install and configure updates for the ERP system while minimizing downtime during normal business hours.
9. ERP patch testing, installation, and implementation.
10. Maintain production and test ERP environments.
11. Support other database solutions, including but not limited to in-house developed solutions, document imaging, reporting tools, etc.
12. Maintain and update documentation of all systems and related tasks by creating how-to manuals to supplement support documentation.
13. Assist with data and audit reporting.
14. Train users and provide user technical support, if needed.
15. Oversee audits of security access to college database resources.
16. Coordinate college support needs with the North Carolina Community College Systems Office.
17. Work with College’s Network Administrator to ensure college systems are secure in our cloud and local infrastructure.
18. Implement and maintain backup solutions for the College’s ERP systems.
19. Lead various related Technology Services projects to move towards a more integrated environment.
20. Extract and manipulate data from ERP systems as requested for use by the College.
21. Use Informer and other reporting tools to create customized reports.
22. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
23. Other duties as assigned.
