Minimum Qualifications
Education Required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field including but not limited to business administration, entrepreneurship, marketing, or communications.
Experience Required
• 6 or more years of related experience
• A minimum of 6 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
KSA Required
• Knowledge of/experience in the following areas:
o Hospitality industry
o Customer service
o Sales/Marketing
o Budget management
o Personnel Management
o Project Management
• Presentation skills to boards of trustees and directors.
• Understanding of intellectual properties laws.
Preferred Qualifications
Education Preferred
• Master’s degree in related field including but not limited to business administration, entrepreneurship, marketing, or communications.
Experience Preferred
• 10 or more years of related experience
• A minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in start-ups, small business development or similar experience.
KSA Preferred
• Knowledge of/experience in the following areas:
o Start-ups
o Small business development
Position Description
The Executive Director oversees the financial operations, daily activities, marketing/sales strategies, project/process development, and client development/stewardship for the GTCC Innovative Resources Corporation (GIRC) and its subsidiary, the GTCC Center of Creativity and Commerce.
