Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Five years of progressive management duties related to any combination of the following required: performing arts, conference and meeting facility management, event planning, and/or hospitality management

Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, Master's degree preferred.  A degree in business management, hospitality management, or arts administration is preferred.

Position Description

Responsible for the overall operations of the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center (JEBCC) including scheduling and coordinating performing arts and conference center events. Duties include, but are not limited to programming, public relations, contract negotiations, staff training and advertising.
