Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS Human Services, Education, Organizational Leadership. 2-5 years teaching or leading adult groups in service or leadership development programs, coaching adult learners individually and in groups. Supervisory skills for students and support staff.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree and extensive knowledge of Maxient Student Conduct System.

Position Description

The Executive Director, Student Success South Campus & College Civility coordinates the student conduct program; adjudicates student conduct cases; coordinates selection, training and scheduling for hearing committees. The Executive Director serves as the Title IX coordinating officer with responsibility for implementation of Federal legislation- Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and the Campus SaVE Act, as well as related State legislated mandates.

The Executive Director, Student Success South Campus & College Civility will be responsible for daily support of staff at the College’s Trinity Church Road location and staff within the Departments of Student Life & Leadership, Office of Accessibility, and Wellness Centers. Ideal candidates have experience with diverse student populations. Experience should include a demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of an educational environment promoting a culture of civility. Candidates seeking this position should possess the ability to foster a collaborative work environment using good judgement, good decision making and problem solving abilities.

Ideal candidates should have experience with Student Conduct Management Systems (i.e. Maxient) and have experience responding to student crises and developing crisis response strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Executive Director, Student Success South Campus & College Civility reports to the VP of Student Success Services as a member of the CORE Leadership Team and supervises 7- 10 individuals.
  • Coordinates the student conduct program; adjudicates student conduct cases; coordinates selection, training and scheduling for hearing committees.
  • The Executive Director serves as the Title IX coordinating officer with responsibility for implementation of Federal legislation.
  • The Executive Director, Student Success South Campus & College Civility will be responsible for daily support of staff at the College’s Trinity Church Road location and staff within the Departments of Student Life & Leadership, Office of Accessibility and Wellness Centers. Ideal candidates have experience with diverse student populations.
