• A valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and place at least 70 lbs. on an ongoing basis
• Knowledge of general maintenance

Position Description
Job Description
The Facilities Technician II is a full-time, 12-month position located on the OCH Campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician II works closely with the coordinator of skilled trades in the repair and maintenance of college facilities and is responsible for the completion of work requests assigned and general care of the facilities and grounds.
Job Duties
• Work mid-morning and evening shift
• Be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all facilities (buildings) and properties (equipment, cars, etc.).
• Assist with special events including set up and clean up
• Look for and report facility and property problems
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing and electrical repairs
• Perform a variety of laboring duties as assigned
• Complete duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities
• Be on call if needed
