Associate degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Mechatronics or related Applied Industrial Technology discipline from a regionally accredited institution; minimum five years work experience industrial building/ maintenance technology, and/or facility and equipment maintenance experience;
Ability to provide instruction in industrial and programmable logic controls, robotics, instrumentation, blueprint reading, hydraulics and pneumatics, computer-aided drafting and design, motors and controls, and electrical wiring
Excellent reference (s) and job description (s) from previous employers.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, schematics, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
•Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills required and ability to collaboratively work as a team member.
•Ability to engage with business and industry partners to develop work-based learning experiences and apprenticeships.
•Ability to provide instruction during the day, evening, and weekends.
•Ability to integrate and maintain content in a learning management system.
•Ability to use technology to deliver instruction
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Appropriate licenses and/or certifications required for assigned courses.

Full-time faculty are professional, credentialed educators with the primary responsibility of providing quality learning experiences in credit or non-credit courses in their area of expertise for all Rockingham Community College (RCC) students. Faculty are responsible for providing learning experiences on the main campus and off-site. Faculty are responsible for but are not limited to planning, organizing, promoting, and teaching appropriate courses, to include online and hybrid. Faculty are expected to perform all instruction-related duties in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the College, the North Carolina Community College System, and with appropriate accrediting entities where applicable. Faculty are also responsible for academic advising, follow-up support services, recruitment, and performing other duties as assigned.
Under the supervision of the Department Chair, Applied and Industrial Technologies, provide implementation and delivery of multiple courses in technology program areas [Industrial Systems, Electrical Systems, and Manufacturing]
This faculty position will support Career and College Promise career and technical education pathways and pre-apprentice and apprentice programs.
