Position Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Workforce Development, the applicant must demonstrate mastery of current forklift operational skills as an experienced Forklift Operator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides relevant instruction and hands-on training that are necessary to successfully operate a forklift in a variety of settings.
- Instruct students in the techniques of forklift operations.
- Ensures all course documentation and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Will demonstrate creativity, contribute real-world training scenarios, and function as part of a team
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ten years experience as an operator
- OSHA pocket card
- Completion of forklift operator instructor development course
- Flexible schedule that allows for instruction during days, evenings, and weekends
