Minimum Qualifications

 Candidate must be able to demonstrate the capacity to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail; must possess strong communication and organizational skills. The Coordinator must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment, professionalism, a positive attitude, and commitment to ethical principles and accountability. 

Preferred Qualifications

An Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a regionally accredited institution is required.  Three to five years of relevant experience with fundraising or scholarship software such as Blackbaud Awards Management or Raisers Edge is preferred. Office experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are required.  A valid North Carolina driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is required.  A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.

Position Description

The Coordinator will report to the Executive Director of the Foundation and serve as the lead liaison for Blackbaud Awards Management and Raisers Edge software. Duties include overseeing the award process for student scholarships, accounts payable, and receivable; preparing necessary audit materials for the Foundation’s accounting firm; coordinating meetings for the Foundation and transcribing minutes; assist with planning and coordinating fundraising and special event activities. Performs other job-related duties as assigned in support of the College’s mission and goals.
