Education Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, facilities management or related field to the position.
Experience Minimum: Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in an industry or higher education environment.

Position Description
Summary
Coordinates workforce development activities related to the biotechnology industry as well as performing duties within the department to ensure quality instruction and updates of crucial information relative to programs and courses.
Knowledge & Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates placement testing for all potential biotechnology students.
- Coordinates student registration for biotechnology programs, including continuing education courses.
- Coordinates quotes/ordering, cataloging and organizing of supplies and equipment, lab maintenance, design/functionality of all lab spaces including the BioSWE.
- Coordinates state certification examination for BioWork students, including proctoring.
- Coordinates equipment and software training for instructors with outside vendors.
- Coordinates with corporate clients and instructors to arrange training class schedule; which includes but not limited to: individual course schedules, location, classroom needs, confirmation emails, and ordering appropriate material for courses.
- Assists instructors with performing lab activities during class as needed.
- Assists with grade management in Blackboard as well as grading and/or filing for industry training.
- Assists in categorizing and organizing supplies and equipment in laboratory spaces.
- Maintains documentation that supports laboratory activities, including vendor contact information, SDSs, logbooks, equipment calibration schedules, and user manuals.
- Manages the chemical and microbiological disposal generated from activities.
- Prepares lab activities, supplies, and equipment at the WDC for adjunct instructors, industry training, and outside vendors.
- Trains departmental employees on software and lab activities.
- Assists in the preparation of labs at the WDC for faculty/biotech company trainings/outside vendors.
- Responsible for tracking, retention and marketing for students within the biotechnology program and for potential students Assists students and potential students with questions and inquiries about the programs.
- Cleans and maintains lab coats and other supplies used in activities.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, donations, manuals and materials.
- Maintains the quality, reliability, and safety of the supplies and equipment within teaching environments.
- Audits and updates webpage for WDC.
- Coordinates and schedules back-up for front desk day and evening when necessary.
- Maintains updates for WorkKeys Assessments, schedules and administers testing.
- Schedules all IT and AV repairs and maintenance.
- Serves on internal and external committees as requested. Trains faculty and staff on IT/AV and system processes.
- Works flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Colleague, e-Procurement, email and internet usage. Individual should be confident in using spreadsheets to track student data and inventory.
