Position Description

Description:

This position provides clerical support to Nurse Family Partnership (NFP).  Although keyboard skills are essential, they are generally balanced by knowledge to Nurse Family Partnership (NFP).  Assignments are specific; work is reviewed upon completion; may report to the NFP Nurse Supervisor.  

This is a grant funded position.

Essential Functions:

This information is intended to be descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position.  The list of essential function below does not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent in this position. 

  1.  Inputs NFP data in a timely and accurate manner into the web-based information system; complies with or assists in the compilation of statistical information for special reports.
     
  2. Performs program support tasks such as organizes forms, photocopies, files, orders and maintains program materials and educational handouts, makes reminder calls for visits as requested by the supervisor and nurse home visitors.
     
  3. Performs general clerical functions such as sorts, routes and distributes mail, type's material from typed or handwritten copy, prepares correspondence, reports and other documents.
     
  4. Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various work processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary, and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports.
     
  5. Compiles a variety or resources, may participate in community outreach activities such as distributing program brochures, retrieving client referrals as delegated by the supervisor.
     
  6. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
     
  7. Performs other work as required or assigned.
     
  8. This position will keep accurate time sheets; leave sheets, time study and mileage sheets monthly. This position is responsible for checking e-mails daily.
     
  9. Maintain a working relationship with NFP State Consultant to discuss data trends and model fidelity.
     
  10. Participate in NFP national service office webinars and conference calls as assigned.
     
  11. Maintain open communication with NFP's nurse home visitors.
     
  12. Act as liaison to NFP's nurse home visitors per NFP safety policy.
     
  13. Schedule and set up NFP Team Meetings and community Advisory Board Meetings.
     
  14. Streamline information between all Community Advisory Boards.
     
  15. Maintain open relationship with referral resources and community outreach.
