Minimum Qualifications
MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, and/or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in IT and/or related computer field from regionally accredited institution; Programming knowledge required
Preferred Qualifications
Gaming and simulation knowledge and experience preferred. 1 year community college teaching experience required; 3 years community college teaching experience with experience using learning management systems (Blackboard) preferred.
Certifications and knowledge of Java, C++, Python, A+, Cisco, MOS, Certiport. This position will be directly responsible for teaching and/or arranging faculty coverage of the following courses:
CET 111 Computer Upgrade/Repair I
CET 211 Computer Upgrade/Repair II
CIS 110 Introduction to Computers
CIS 115 Introduction to Programming and Logic
CTI 110 Web, Programming, and Database Foundation
CTI 120 Network and Security Foundation
CTS 130 Spreadsheet
CSC 134 C++ Programming
CSC 151 Java Programming
CSC 234 Advanced C++ Programming
Position Description
Instruct Curriculum Information Technology courses to college and high school students to include cyber security, programming, cloud computing, web and networking; advise students and provide all necessary support and duties for position.
