Education Minimum: Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
Experience Minimum: Two (2) to five (5) years of curriculum experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience Preferred: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience involving student records and registration in curriculum within an educational institution.
Position Description
Summary
This position performs college registration activities, registration, records management, processing transcripts and data enrollment within FERPA guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processes all curriculum registrations and record requests.
- Assists with a variety of duties for the records and registration department for all curriculum registration and record functions.
- Performs all duties within the curriculum student records process that includes: registering students for classes, printing and distributing rosters and printing schedules on demand.
- Performs scanning and archiving of documents with Data Base Management System.
- Processes a variety of forms for students, other higher education institutions, and outside agencies such as enrollment status, consortium forms, and insurance verification.
- Trouble shoots issues with Self-Service for students, faculty, and staff including any questions or concerns that arise.
- Provides guidance and instruction to faculty, staff, and students concerning course substitutions, crosswalks, and graduation readiness.
- Processes all student drops, instructor withdrawals, and reinstatement forms during the semester.
- Completes all Career and College Promise processes including: registrations, schedule adjustments, prints schedules, prints transcripts at the end of each term.
- Collaborates with all personnel within the Career and College Promise program, Early College Academy, Career and Technical, Leadership Academy and all high school students.
- Collaborates with personnel within the Admissions and Student Engagement department for report processing and error correction.
- Collaborates with Business Office with curriculum student financial accounts.
- Collaborates with Financial Aid Office with curriculum student account information.
- Maintains and supports all Parchment functions of transcripts and degrees • Enforces all FERPA guidelines.
- Assist with programs of study including import and export into NCCCS CIS System, develop and maintain degree audit in Colleague for graduation.
- Assist with course offering and course scheduling builds, including term, section meeting dates, location, instructor census dates are accurate.
- Supports functions of payroll submission including part-time instructor contracts. Performs all duties as assigned.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Colleague, Parchment, Self-Service, Re-Group, On-Base and Microsoft Suite.
