Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling is required.  Microsoft Office skills and experience with digital platforms, required.  

Preferred Qualifications

Previous work experience in a community college or higher education setting, preferred.  Experience leading a student orientation program within a community college or higher education, preferred.  Experience in higher education preferred.

Position Description

By utilizing a case management approach, provide students with information about program requirements and program offerings; assist students who are enrolling or registering for classes at the college; represent the College in recruitment and community activities; collaborate with faculty and staff in support of the College's comprehensive success model; provide educational and career advising services; and assist with other essential functions of the Student Services Division to enhance student success initiatives.  Daytime position with some scheduled evening work and local travel required.

Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary:  Minimum monthly starting salary $3,120.00 with final salary determination based upon education and experience.

Closing Date:  March 3, 2024, or open until filled.

Start Date:  April 1, 2024.
